Inception as a metaphor for film making

Had never thought of it this way. But it works!

    Neat!

  3. Just what everyone (except me) was worried about. I’ve never used Textmate but might give it a try now.

    A friendly wrapper for launchctl.

    For example, instead of:

    launchctl load ~/Library/LaunchAgents/io.redis.redis-server.plist

    you can do this:

    lunchy start redis

This is why I love One Thing Well.

  7. Pretty awesome. Even though now it’s unsupported, but you can’t beat free!

  8. Inbox Zero isn’t about keeping an empty inbox, it’s about not allowing our inboxes to have sway over us. When you think of it that way, you can reach Inbox Zero without even opening your email app. Because it’s not about email.

  9. I’ma be honest. This made me tear up a little.

  10. Writing & Dates

I’ve not become a member of Ben Brooks’ and therefore have had to deal with a 7-day delay in seeing the posts he writes. After this has happened for a while, I realized: it doesn’t matter to me.

When he first started his membership program, he mentioned that his posts should be timeless, that the delay shouldn’t take away from the actual content. I believe this couldn’t be more true. I haven’t even noticed the delay. It feels to me like nothing happened.

I like Ben Brooks’ new ad-free site, even if it means I have to wait 7 days before seeing new posts. I haven’t noticed the delay yet, and doubt I will in the future.
